Ingo Fründ

I am one of the first two employees at verbally. Hence, I do more or less everything. However, my focus is on those parts that are related to machine learning.

At Untether, I developed and implemented methods for quantizing deep neural networks to run those algorithms in limited precision integer resolution on Untether's highly distributed hardware. I was responsible for the structure and maintenance of the Untether's quantization toolbox and for three months I served as product owner of the full compiler stack.

My research is in Computational Neuroscience, where I study the computational processes that support the mid- and high-level human visual processing. I am currently teaching two courses for undergraduate students, the first one is a second year course on "Sensation and Perception" and the second one is a third year course on "Intermediate Research Methods".
