BKP Development is an economic research and consulting firm owned and managed by its two partners. The company was established in 2006 and is based in Munich with associates in Canada, Ethiopia, Ghana and the Netherlands.

- Integrated a comprehensive social impact strategy into the business model, aiming to improve the quality of life (e.g. income levels,education, housing) of plastic collectors in Senegal. - Innovated a business model to ensure scalability of social impact along side the business growth.

- Constructed data sets based on records derived from historic German archives - Researched the impact of the Reformationon cities' economic development.

- Conducted quantitative research on the impact of global demographic changes on household support networks. - Drafted evidence-based recommendations to inform UNICEF`s future research an programme design in order to deliver better social protection policies targeting children and the elderly.

- Coordinated the relationship between YSB and McCain Foods Ltd. during the implementation of the joint venture (Campo Vivo) - Represented the interest of YSB during the set up of the social enterprise

- Supported the Member in the Committee of Employment and Social Affairs - Negotiated amendments of the legislation on the Posting of Workers Directive and the Occupational Pensions Scheme - Drafted reports, briefings and press releases regarding current issues in the EU - Responsible for administrative tasks; coordinating interns, organising events with other MEPs.

- Informed the members of thea ssociation on the current political situation in the region - Organised the meetings between the Colombian President, Juan Manual Santos, and German investors during his first official visit. - Wrote press reviews and political analysis on policies including trade regulations in Andean countries.
