I joined as a consultant in order to start from scratch a new regional branch dedicated to assignments for the Property & Construction Sector. Within the first six months, I was promoted to branch manager. As well as having my own sales target to reach as a “consultant”, I also built and managed a team of four, and helped them to grow, to face up to challenges, to tackle problems, to find solutions, to plan work, and to deliver results.
At the opening of this new office, there were four consultants working on our own for an English company entering the French market. Our major task was to generate awareness about Hays, meeting with both candidates and clients. My interpersonal skills, my flexibility to deal with unforeseen situations and my ability to discuss with people at all levels, helped me to succeed in this position.
