After graduating as D.Sc. in June 2016, I worked three months on a personal grant doing research in entrepreneurial selling and international business opportunity development of small new ventures. Another research area on which I started doing research during this time in collaboration with a colleague is multinational enterprises' international business activities and their influence on emerging markets’ development.

My main tasks as coordinator and tutor teacher included applicant communication and social media marketing of the International Master’s Program in International Business Management (Oulu Business School), selection of students to the program, and study counseling.

In Oulu Growth Venturing (OGV) project my tasks included e.g., co-development of business ideas, business models, marketing plans, sales strategies and productization of project services. In Yritysten Kansainvälinen Osaaminen (YKO) project my tasks included e.g., analysis of small and medium-sized Finnish companies’ level of internationalization using the International Business Assessment Method developed at the Oulu Business School, and supporting their internationalization capabilities.

Research assistant in the Ryhti project from September 2011 until May 2012. I conducted business model analyses and a business ecosystem analysis related to services that create and support well-being and life-cycle living.

My main activities were updating the donator database and processing the bank statements (allocating donations). I was also assisting in customer service in both Finnish and Swedish.
