I have been involved in one of the projects of ESF-Nachwuchsforschergruppe “Chem-IT” of the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfAED). The aim of the project is the development of the approach, which can be applied for a creation of chemical information processing microfluidic devices with polymer separation function. I was responsible for the collaboration of "Chem-IT" group with "Institute Theory of Polymers" in IPF and was developing and leading the project directions.

I was responsible for project dedvelopment in the fields of transport properties, microfluidics, polymer brushes, molecular architecture and have made the project planning, acquired an experience of how to work in tight deadlines and cross-functional projects. In the frame of the project I have developed the approach for creation of microfluidic seperation devices. For these purposes I was working on computer simulation code. I am also keen in statistical data analysis, treatment and interpretation.
I was involed in the project dealing with smart copolymers near a pattern surface. I have developed an approach of surface pattern recognition and transfer to the polymer film, so called bottom-up technique, based on “double phase separation” in polymer solution; suggested and developed the computational model and algorithm for such experimental techniques as spin-coating to investigate the solvent evaporation process in polymer films, also the model of a polymer film swelling.
