• Responsible for adhesives and coatings: formulation, manufacturing, qualification, characterization and processing • Project Management: development of adhesives and coatings using new technologies

• Responsible for raw materials used for resin, adhesives and silicone systems: qualification, testing, processing • Development of epoxy resins, adhesives and silicone elastomers

• Lead the lab for technical support/product creation for composites/adhesives products • Project leader for development of epoxy formulations (timelines, costs, resources) • Technical support in Europe for windmill, sport &leisure, pre-impregnated fabrics markets • Organisation of the lab: allocation of lab work, follow-up, EHS, quality management • Supervising 1-3 associates (personal goals and development)

Fully operative from day one with no hand over • Development of 3 product lines: formulations of water-based polymers (acrylate, SBR…) to impregnate technical fabrics for construction and industry • Technical support for Production department and Sales (Germany & France) • Co-operation with external suppliers and internal departments • Supervising chemical engineers students (support to the Development department)

Job creation • Development of self-adhesive papers (coating of water-based adhesives, silicon) : responsible for industrial trials • Management of the technical interface with R&D, Application and Quality Insurance departments in Germany • Customers (printers and labels manufacturers) and end users technical support, complaints handling • Technical support for the quality control and production on site (ex: by the introduction of new products)

• Synthesis, modification and characterisation of phenolic resins (lab of chemistry) • Mechanical testing to test the adhesion between resin and fibre surfaces and interface analysis with Scanning Electron Microscopy (lab of mechanics and surface analysis)

• Specialisation in “Materials with high added value” • Completed in 1988 with “DEA of physical chemistry”
