In addition to a research project on the evolution of the wind cluster in Hamburg and on the city's role in the global wind industry, I completed a PhD on modularization in the wind sector. My research have shown that the implementation of modular product and platform concepts as well as modified sourcing strategies (e.g. global sourcing, multiple-sourcing and the use of system integrators) alter relations between manufacturers and suppliers, changes the industry organization and effects its externalities.

Thematic, professional and organizational management of the branch office. Development of market forecasts, scenario and SWOT analyzes and of resulting strategic recommendations for the onshore and offshore wind energy industry.

In the department for international site analysis I prepared my diploma thesis and worked on the definition and analysis of location criteria, the choice of valuation methods and the standardization of evaluation and selection procedures for potential production sites of the photovoltaic industry.
