Returned to the SCADA team, building on my previous experience supporting real-time power system operations. Rejoining the team has allowed me to apply my existing knowledge of the SCADA/EMS environment while taking on further responsibility for maintaining and supporting critical operational systems.

Serving on the NETT Board as EirGrid’s representative, promoting cross-border collaboration and knowledge sharing among European TSOs.

I gained experience in application suppport, software development, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment while supporting a range of business-critical systems. I worked on improving application resilience, resolving technical issues, maintaining documentation and contributing to application enhancement projects. Through this work, I developed skills in C#, Blazor, ASP.NET, Python and cloud technologies, while gaining practical experience in change management, cross-team collaboration and service delivery

I supported operational resilience and emergency preparedness activities while working with a wide range of operational and technical stakeholders. My responsibilites included coordinating readiness activities, supporting blackout exercises, maintaining documentation and action trackers, supporting response exercises, and developing Python-based dashboards to improve reporting and visibility. This experience strengthened my stakeholder management, project coordination, problem-solving and communcation skill

Developed and configured SCADA displays using FG Builder to visualise and control real-time energy data systems. Managed and maintained system databases using E-Terrasource for data mapping, point management, and integration with field devices. This enabled efficient transfer of data from generators/substations to an Energy Management System (EMS).
