Berater in der biopharmazeutischen Industrie mit Schwerpunkt auf analytischer Entwicklung und pharmazeutischen F&E-Projekten. Derzeit arbeite ich vor Ort bei Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg im pRED-Bereich und unterstütze dort die präparative Proteinaufreinigung.

• Proteinreinigung mittels ÄKTA-Systemen und mehrstufiger Chromatographie (AC, IEX, SEC, HIC) inkl. Pufferherstellung • Analytische Charakterisierung und Qualitätskontrolle zur Bestimmung von Identität, Reinheit und Stabilität (analytische SEC, HIC, CE-SDS, Endotoxin-Bestimmung) • Auswertung chromatographischer und elektrophoretischer Daten sowie Dokumentation von Versuchsparametern, Erstellung von Ergebnisberichten

Practice-oriented full-time training program (945 hours) covering pharmaceutical and life sciences product development, regulation and commercialization across the value chain from drug discovery to market launch. Topics include clinical trials (GCP), EU/international regulatory affairs, GMP quality systems, healthcare systems, market access and pricing, pharma business models, lifecycle management, leadership, project management, communication and cross-functional teamwork.

I gained hands-on experience in mass spectrometry–based proteomics, including sample preparation, enrichments, and quantitative analysis using Orbitrap and timsTOF LC-MS systems. Working in a core facility with high daily throughput, I processed diverse samples according to different experimental requests. Overall, I developed strong expertise in multi-instrument ESI LC-MS workflows and large-scale proteomics data analysis.

I studied the post-translational regulation of SNX17 to understand mechanisms of endosomal cargo recycling to the plasma membrane. Using molecular and cell biology, proteomics, and protein biochemistry approaches, I worked independently on two projects and contributed to additional collaborative projects in a team setting. In parallel, I was responsible for LC systems, as well as IT administration, procurement, and contributions to interdisciplinary projects in the Max Planck Sustainability Network.

I investigated the role of the glucocorticoid receptor in human testicular peritubular cells using molecular and cell biology approaches. I also delivered neuroanatomy lectures and organ-centered seminars.

I investigated the influence of plant pollen on macrophages and the reactivation of latent herpes viruses. I worked with RG2 pathogens latently expressed in cells under BSL-2 conditions.

Gained hands-on experience in small-scale fermentation, focusing on determining mass transfer characteristics and monitoring solution properties.

I completed a hands-on internship in clinical chemistry and food analytics, gaining practical experience in the operation of analytical instruments, sample preparation, and quality-controlled measurements.

Doctoral degree submitted to the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy in the field of Biochemistry, titled “Functional Analysis of Phosphorylation-Dependent SNX17 Regulation,” with research conducted at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in the Department of Molecular Medicine of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Fässler.
