A101 is the second largest hard discounter in Turkey with almost 2000 stores. I joined the company in a time of heavy restructuring after almost bankrupcy. We developed a new business strategy for the company which was then implemented. Afterwards the company was put on the market for potential exit to private equity firms.

For the time of the acquisition/transaction between the previous Belgian owner and the acquiring private equity firm I served as a board member, put together the top management, helped develop the new future strategy for the leading supermarket format in Romania.

LIDL is a retail chain operating in 25 countries. As the CEO for CZ and SK I was over ten years responsible for a company with over 5000 employess and sales of over 1 billion Euro
