After heading up the Germanic Department, I was asked to look after the sales side of the Germanic Markets (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). My key role being account manager for our top clients (eg Dertour / Knecht / Jumbo), looking after the existing clients, as well as sourcing new business and growing existing business.

AFRICAN FUSION TOURS specializes in tours/holidays through South Africa and neighbouring countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and even Mauritius. With many years of experience in the Tourism Industry, we have an excellent comprehensive knowledge of these destinations and pride ourselves for our very unique personal service and extreme high professional standard. We specialize in golf tours, general FIT & Group enquiries, special interest groups & incentives.

Assisting in the mornings or late afternoons in the Business Development/ Contracting Department ranging from 3 to 6 months contract at a time. This entailed assisting with special interest group bookings, special projects, contracting & costing of various brochures (for example for DERTOUR, BOOMERANG REISEN, IL DIAMANTE (TAUCK & BOSA SERIES), KNECHT REISEN, ect). Reported to Felicity Vieira. At the same time heading up my own private company AFRICAN FUSION TOURS cc.

Solely responsible for the management and operations of all the Pre & Post Tours of the ISA World Congress of SOCIOLOGY`09, which was held at the ICC Centre in Durban. Afterwards assisting in the Groups Department, from general to special interest groups and costing various packages. Reported to Felicity Vieira.

Briefly managing the German Groups Department, whilst the Supervisor was absent for a few months. Processing and assisting with German Group enquiries, making all the travel arrangements and issuing documents. Also took over a high profile and large American Incentive Group and finalized all the travel arrangements & documentation. Reported to Liz Manke/ Georgie Davidson.

Temporarily running the UK/USA Department. Processing enquiries & bookings for 3* to mainly 5* clients, from making recommendations, giving expert advice to making the travel arrangements and issuing documents.

Processing enquiries & bookings for VIP clients of the VIRTUOSO / North America Department, from arranging their travel arrangements, taking care of special requests to issuing their travel documents. Special recognition from Anne Kent Taylor, with regards to a high profile client.

Experienced FIT Consultant for the German & Dutch Market. Having looked after big Tour Operators, such as AIRTOURS, processing all their enquiries & bookings. Reported to Anedore Kessler (now MD of the company).
