Development of a disturbance controller to remove unwanted currents in the power drives of rail vehicles. Here he tested and compared different digital controller concepts. This included discrete state-space- and optimal controllers with disturbance observers and setup of a co-simulation environment between Matlab / Simulink and an internal Siemens simulation software.
