    UltraSonic Shot Peening (USSP) is a mechanical surface treatment process used to enhance the mechanical properties of peened parts and increase their fatigue life span. My industrial PhD aims to develop a simulation tool of this process for complex geometries, and integrate it into the design process of USSP equipment. The lack of feedback during an USSP operation, both for designers and technicians, makes it important to have a predictive tool for the entire process.
