My job was to generate leads for initiating new projects in the company. With my in depth knowledge in Bioinformatics I was able to make valuable contributions to the company. As a part of the job I scanned databases of Plant Genomes and analyzed candidate proteins. This allowed me to identify candidates that were of commercial importance for the company.

I gave lectures in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics for engineering students. I was hired primarily to give lectures in the advanced fields like Functional Genomics, Sequence alignment etc. I also trained the students in the Bioinformatics lab, which improved my interpersonal skills.
