Development of electrical steering systems for major vehicle manufacturers (OEM). This involves the responsibility of development projects (volume >30 mEUR, ASPICE maturity level 2+), heading the customer applications team (8 engineers in 2 locations), the release of the products according legal standards such as ISO16949 and active driving of new business awards in direct contact with the OEM.
Leading a global platform project in the area of electrical steering systems for one of the TOP3 global passenger car OEMs including direct responsibility for 7 employees and 15 additional within te development project.
Leading the engineering development project of a belt drive steering wheel project for one of the big 3 OEM. This projects covers all continents, multiple brands and various different applications. I coordinate the different development centres (China, Germany, Usa) and am responsible for the direct customer communication. Additionally the internal alignment to operations, program management and the validation activities are part of my job.
