Thesis topic: Comparison of decentralized and centralized Photovoltaic powered air conditioning systems for hotels in hot and dry climates.(thesis grade: 1.7) Description: 1) Modelling and simulating the energy consumption of the Ocean View Hotel located in El Gouna ,Egypt with IDA-ICE. 2) Implementing passive strategies to reduce energy consumption by 20 %. 3) Modelling and simulating performance of the PV air conditioning systems with Modelica Dymola and reduced electricity consumption by 30 %.
