Responsible for the IS service in 16 countries with everything from budgets, planning, hiring staff, launching and supporting major projects, etc. There was not much in place when I started but a fully integrated and working environment when I took my next assignment. Part of a core team that operated, enhanced and modified the global Lotus Notes environment for the company covering at this time more than 80 countries. I was one out of five that had full rights in the entire Lotus Notes and Domino network. Adding new companies, separating units that had been sold, updated the server environment, etc. These were my techie days and it was a fantastic experience.
