Joanna Wizmur

I’m a Berlin based photographer specialising in artists’ portraits. I work mainly with the musicians, dancers and actors to help them create their visual identity which must represent their work. I also offer one-day intensive workshops where students explore techniques for making compelling portraiture using available light and easily accessible light sources. I teach and demonstrate how to shape with light and shadow to achieve depth and add meaning to a portrait with focus on artists’ visual identity.
