Co-founder and Lead Software Engineer at CorTec, a medical device startup developing an active brain implant. Developed the C++/Qt software platform from prototype stage into a structured medical device software foundation. Established architecture, core application components, real-time communication, automated testing infrastructure (Jenkins, GoogleTest/Mock), and development workflows. Introduced EN 62304 and ISO 13485 compliant software processes.

Research Associate at the University of Freiburg developing C++ software for real-time brain-signal processing and neurotechnology applications. Designed and optimized software for EEG/ECoG data analysis, integrated research hardware, and supported prototype validation in laboratory and clinical environments. Contributed to spin-off preparation through product concepts, technical demonstrations, and investor presentations, leading to the founding of CorTec GmbH in 2011.
