Dr. Johannes Holke

As a research group leader in scalable adaptive mesh refinement at the department for high-performance computing of the Institute of Software Technology at the DLR I have the technical and disciplinary lead of a team of 9 full-time employees and several students. I lead the development of the C++ HPC software framework t8code for scalable adaptive mesh refinement and a number of connected numerical applications. Furthermore, I acquire research funds and manage and lead the resulting research projects.

As a postdoc at the DLR i develop and implement massively scalable algorithms in state-of-the art numerical software. I am involved in writing funding proposals and project plans - also as project leader - for several national and international research projects. Furthermore, I have been supervising pHD theses, Master's theses and interns.
