The management of assurance projects across all aspects of the business, including operational areas, financial reporting, projects and CAATs for this FTSE 100 company.  Promoted the security and resilience of processes and systems.  Identified opportunities to significantly improve profitability and areas of fundamental control weakness; and worked with the business to address them.  Supported business process re-engineering and new system implementation projects.

Providing a comprehensive review facility covering the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures and controls for all areas of TUI AG’s tourism operations within Northern Europe.

This involved broad ranging audit experience gained with a top 10 accountancy firm; IT and operational auditing roles with Britannia Airways Limited (developing the IT audit strategy and introducing an information systems controls assurance process); and the role of Company Accountant with a technology company (reporting to the Finance Controller and overseeing a team of three).
