Advising the CEO on forward strategy

I provide strategic advice an input in thought leadership in the area of IT legacy evolution (we extract business logic from legacy systems to enable them to evolve independent of programming code), and market positioning, Also still run the UK Innovation Initiative, a not-for-profit organistion which is funded by Erudine.

The UK Innovation Initiative aims to help bridge the gap between SME innovators and large corporate enterprises. It strives to get small technically oriented companies to up their game and express themselves better in business terms and also to appreciate the corporate mindset. It also strives to get large corporates to up their game to adapt their procurement and due diligence processes to be better able to accommodate small innovative companies

Responsible for identifying where IT was being used to create value in large organisations. The focus was on the effective use of IT and I worked mainly with CIOs. I also set up and ran a club for IT Directors called the CW500 Club which is still running.
