Founder of a new model venture company focused on marketing and market positioning of disruptive start-up companies in the FinTech and IoT space to aid corporate innovation. Created the world’s first MasterCard certified contactless only payment keyfob and spun out Donate The Change as a standalone company.

Created Vertu Taiwan R&D office, managed local R&D team and program managed all Vertu accessory programs. Halve program development costs in two years through program redefinition, ODM management. Introduced several new product categories and redesigned the Android UI for the Asian market. Managed existing ODM, component and process suppliers, and led innovation development.

Own consulting company based in UK and Vancouver connecting western clients to Asian ODM partners. Projects included implementation of a hierarchal temporal memory cognitive neuroscience model in NVIDIA CUDA, design of an Android tablet and document management solution for the French education system, and Foxconn’s first highend Android LTE handset.

Founder of the first smartphone brand. Floated on the London AIM in September 2006 IPO with market cap of $400M and peak cap of $0.989B. Responsible for handset design and delivery, innovation, software services and operator acceptance. Set roadmap and technology strategy. Ran Product Management, Hardware, Design and IT departments in Dubai, 30 person enterprise development team in Seattle, and 15 person game development team in Armenia.

Responsible for live network parameters, live network trials, terminal network interaction, technical and program aspects of the world’s first GPRS radio network, and UMTS radio network and service design. Developed the O2 xda in partnership with HTC, and first GSM version of the Blackberry with RIM. BT standards delegate at ETSI SMG2 and 3GPP TSG GERAN; developed first microcell deployment in London and Belfast; nationwide GSM1800 deployment; consultant to BT Security on radio.

Responsible for all hardware design, customer RFQ, installation teams, and beta testing Windows 95 & Windows NT, and the HP Beowulf clustering solution. Sendit built the world’s first cellular Internet email gateway and was the first European company to be bought by Microsoft for our email server architecture and mobility integration to scale Exchange up to telco grade capabilities, and for the first SMS push - data fetch patent filed in Europe one year before BlackBerry.
