ILS is a European based specialist reuse, repair and recycling business which provides consultancy and fully managed bespoke services in the electronics and technology market places. The business is based around the unparalleled experience of the three founding Directors. ILS specialises in consultancy, residual data destruction, smart phone and tablet services, asset & value recovery, parts recovery, data centre services, returns management and recovery of value from waste material.

I now have full responsibility for the Sims Lifecycle Services business unit across Europe including UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. Sims Lifecycle Services has 10 reuse and refurbishment Centres across Europe and Sims as a group has over 40 worldwide.

I run the UK operation with full P&L responsibility for the Sims Lifecycle Services UK business unit including our reuse sites at Dumfries, Newport, Milton Keynes and other partner sites. My team also run various global service contracts for international clients including banks, petrochemical and pharmaceutical companies. We provide secure services in over 40 countries and in every continent. Sims as a group refurbish for reuse over 1.75m assets a year.

Jon founded LifeCycle Services (LCS) initially as a consultancy business, growing the business to a market leading service specialist between 2002 and 2008. In March 2008, Jon sold LCS to Sims and merged it successfully with the Asset Retirement division of Sims Group UK and RecommIT to form Sims Lifecycle Services. Jon now runs the Sims Lifecycle Services business in the UK, working closely with Sims business globally.
