--> Definition of business strategy for our payments unit and supporting the strategy execution for our merchant and payer side (virtual cards). --> Part of core team that prepares the content for the annual strategy retreat of the Executive Committee. --> Other activities include M&A, Innovation / Incubation, Competitive Intelligence, Analysis of disruptive players, Commercial Strategy, Portfolio Management and Recruitment.

--> Analysis of additional growth verticals to further diversify the business via build/buy/partner options. --> Responsible for enhancing the portfolio analysis approach to further facilitate top managements's decision-making processes.

--> Development of a published scenario analysis identifying four potential future scenarios for the travel industry and its value chain, also serving as a sanity check for Amadeus’ strategy. --> Follow-up and ensuring of the progress of strategy execution and preparation of quarterly presentation for the Head of Corporate Strategy to the Executive Committee on this topic. --> Detailed analysis of several areas within technology companies: R&D, Marketing and Organizational model.

--> Organization of the Investment Committee (corporate instrument taking decisions on every major investment, based on financial, commercial, operational and strategic aspects). --> Responsible for the corporate Long-Term-Planning exercise (a process determining the financial targets for the next three years. --> Responsible for the introduction of a product portfolio analysis for decision-making purposes on corporate-wide level.
