Transitioned to the corporate holding company to extend the reach and impact of critical operational improvement and strategic change initiatives across eight separate subsidiary businesses with €38M annual turnover. The experience and knowledge acquired in supervising projects combined with a BI system, identifies opportunities to improve synergy and leverage advanced technologies, such as the internal Primavera ERP system, to coordinate long-term business planning, budgeting, strategic direction setting

Directed the core projects function for this €64M turnover, 90-employee business unit, including project definition, planning, budget control, and milestone benchmarking. Supported the achievement of big picture organisational objectives by navigating cross-functional business leaders through key operational improvement initiatives.

Established a thriving independent consultancy providing specialised expertise in business process management solutions, particularly with regard to transportation, production, logistics, and information systems. Leveraged a wide variety of advanced business intelligence tools to assess and structure client issues, conduct in-depth data modelling, and devise robust improvement programmes. Additionally served as an instructor for the Professional Institute of Transports while in this capacity.

Concurrent with independent consulting activities, held a leadership role overseeing the strategic operations and performance of the association’s Logistics Based Training Centre as well as the broader organisation’s information systems and technology. Represented the organisation on the European Certification Board for Logistics (ECBL) Scientific Committee, orchestrating the design and implementation of ECBL practices in Portugal

Design and development of a database for recording and processing information from the surveys carried on in the scope of the joint study for the companies “CARRIS and METROPOLITANO”, related on the mobility of residents in the area of Telheiras, facing the future expansion of the “Metro” for this area. 
