It was my responsibility to make optimal use of our external human talents by listening carefully to the IT support needs our business units and translate these into sustainable relationships with our external partners.

As line manager it was my duty to strengthen and further develop my team, taking both the organisation's targets and the personal interests into consideration.In this way the team was able to pro-actively anticipate on the expectations of our internal customers. As member of the Management Team (department level): making our department 'future-proof' through the evolution and execution of various cross-functional projects on 'Building a Knowledge Culture', 'True Leader' and 'AMO Academy'.

During a mass reorganisation, it was my responsibility to support and coach the individual team members and the team as a whole in order to safeguard the wellbeing and enable the team to deliver what was expected in the organisation. Simutaneously, I took part in the two projects regarding 'Demand-driven HRM' and 'Flexible Job Design'.

It was my duty to transform a local team of three Application Specialists (2nd tier) into a regional team of about 15 persons, located in various sites across Europe and representing 9 different cultures.

In this role, I was part of a cross-functional team responsible for implementing and supporting Nokia’s main Business-to-Business portal called ‘Nokia Online’ in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
