Digital Signal Processing Algorithms for SAR Radar systems

After a year working with the Antennas-Team in Audi, both my team manager and my client were agree to gave me the opportunity to take the leadership of the project. Although I continued supporting my team by some measurements, driving prototypes and designing setups, I started to be focused mainly on the planning and progress of our four-people team.

Testing RF systems, especially antennas, integrated into Audi's prospective models. Performance assessment of different wireless communication technologies like GSM, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, SDARS, or WLAN. Some of the tasks carried out were: • Weekly Meetings with Audi´s Antennas Team, to define or update their needs • Laboratory testing, including measurements inside the vehicles. Mostly S-Parameters obtention • Road tests • Mentoring and measurements scheduling • Radiation patterns

International Graduate Program which brings together engineers from all over Europe and trains them to become the next generation of top engineering consultants – capable of meeting AKKA Technologies clients' most difficult innovation & business challenges to become valuable employees. After a month in Geneva, I was sent to Ingolstadt to work in a project with Audi.

In parallel with my internship, I was also writing my master thesis entitled “RF chains design for Passive Coherent Location (PCL) and Communication Receivers”. Both internship and thesis together covered the following expertise: • Study of Passive Radar systems and Passive Coherent Location (PCL) techniques. • Analysis and Design of radiofrequency receiving chains. • Preparation and completion of field measurement campaigns, in a real environment. • Data analysis and target extraction.

Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised learning environments. My task was a Moodle plugin development for gamification purposes within the Technical Univesity of Cartagena virtual room. Then, a website to manage the data was also developed.

Digital systems based on microprocessor development. Specifically, the use of a LEON3 within a FPGA in order to help the department in its collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) project called EUCLID.
