I work in collaboration with Bayer Technology Services on research projects concerning Carbon Nanotubes catalysts for the hydrogenation of nitro- groups. In this position, laboratory work combined with kinetic modelling (gPROMS) is the basics of the experimental work. For the laboratory work, high pressure reactors with sampling system and Mass Flow Controllers to monitor the reaction were setup. Also a PR-6 was used to test different catalysts synthesized by us for the hydrogenations.
