Lead Consultant for the Strategic Plan for Agricultural and Rural Statistics (SPARS) project in Namibia – a project by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Namibia National Statistics Agency (NSA). I successfully developed the Strategic Plan for Forestry, Environment and National Resources statistics for national implementation.

Monitoring and Evaluation, and Communications consultant to IRDNC to analyze their historic data for internal and external publications. I also prepared their annual newsletter.

Recruited to monitor progress and performance of 30+ donor projects. My duties included project coordination, developing workplans and monitoring frameworks to guide regional staff, training regional staff, data management, performance reporting, fund-raising and communications. I contributed towards the set-up of the MEL Department at IRDNC and programmed a Monitoring System to keep track of project activities, indicators and automate progress reports on a live dashboard.

Hired as a consultant to develop a Monitoring and Evaluation System for the institution, to monitor various field projects and automate progress reports as well as data management. I developed a system with a database for various data types and document files, data input forms, automated progress reports, a live dashboard, both search and filter functions, and other functions such as print, export and email features. I also developed a user manual and trained the staff on how to use and navigate the system.

I completed an Environmental Impact Assessment process for the agro-ecological farm in Mpyuu village, Zambezi Region, Namibia

I was a Personal Assistant to the Programme Director and the Finance Manager, and a secretariat to the Board of Trustees. I assisted with project proposals and reports; I authored, published and distributed the bi-annual newsletter and took responsibilities of project communications and visibility. I also completed a feasibility study for a tourism development project for north-west Namibia.

I was a consulting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) c: assisting with socio-ecological impact assessments, compile Scoping Reports and Environment Management Plans; assist with the required Public Participation process, identify practical and achievable mitigation and environmental management measures; and submit applications for the Environmental Clearance Certificates to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism on behalf of clients.

Appointed as a technical assistant to the Team Leader and Project Accountant for the NamParks Project – Phase IV. My duties included drafting terms of references and project reports; placing newspaper adverts, coordinating field activities, organizing meetings and other logistics; creating and maintaining a monitoring database and assist with monitoring and evaluation of the project.

I led a three-year human-wildlife conflict project to develop solutions to power outages caused by birds nesting on powerlines. I achieved 52% reduction in power cuts. I also worked on various Environmental Impact Assessments and contributed to the Environmental Management Plans for energy distribution projects. I also helped prepare terms of references for environmental consulting tenders, complete and submit environmental clearance certificate applications to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
