At the IBS I got the chance to broaden my knowledge on prokaryotes and protein purification. Especially, I focus on Gram-negative bacteria, causing severe human diseases and opportunistic infections. I investigate in developing assays to screen thousands of antimicrobial substances. A base for the development of future drugs to treat bacterial infections and antibiotic resistance.

In addition I presented the progress of my work at several national and international meetings and in peer reviewed journals.
