Senior Build Engineer

Software Research & Development
Loctory
I first started working at Loctory as a part time employee whilst I was studying computer science. At that time I was working in the localization department. I analyzed builds of Mac OS X for localizability, translated the English UI into German and resized the German UI to fit the German strings. In July 2007 I joined Loctory full time and worked on software development for Mac OS X using C++.
- 1 year and 1 month, Mar 2005 - Mar 2006
Localization tools developer
Apple Inc
I initially stayed with Apple in California for 6 months. My first project was to integrate the Apple Hardware Test localization process into the regular localization process. The end result was a success and saved Apple a good bit of money ever since. My internship was then extended for another 6 months. I worked on the general localization process. My duty was to develop a fuzzy string matching algorithm that offered translators of Apple's products suggestions for a translation.
