His main area of expertise lies within the fields of Application Integration, Data Management, Big Data (especially Hadoop), SOA, BPM, Complex Event / Stream Processing, Realtime Analytics, Cloud Computing, API Management and Enterprise Architecture Management.

Talend is a leading provider of open source integration software. Kai's main task is doing presales support, e.g. answering RFIs and realizing proof of concepts (POC) for several different customers. Kai has a focus especially on: Data Integration, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Systems Integration, Enterprise Service Bus, Cloud Computing, Business Process Management, Big Data (especially Hadoop), Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Architecture Management. Kai also supports Marketing.
