Tecnotion is specialized in the development and production of Iron Core, Iron Less, and Vacuum rated linear motors. As an application engineer at the Tecnotion Standard Division I give clients specific application based technical advice and support during development. Providing a link between the customer and development if customization is needed. Also identifying new opportunities and making quotations. Responsible for the markets in the US, Israel and Italy.

Developing innovative products to prevent animal diseases and increase health, based on lab-on-a-chip technology for point-of-care analysis of livestock. Responsible for the development of an algorithm to quantify the amount of calcium out of conductivity measurements. The aspects of the development are from setting up and carry out a reliable calibration process through signal-processing and statistics till implementing the algorithm in Matlab and Java (android).

Applied research for the development of a hand-held point-of-care blood analyte system for livestock. A lab-on-a-chip making use of capillary electrophoriesis (CE) is being developed to measure Ca, Mg, Na and K ions. In conjunction with this chip a hand-held device is being developed. This work is carried out at the BIOS chair of the EEMCS faculty of the University of Twente. I was working in close cooperation with the spin-off company Blue4Green.

Internship at NXP. FEM Process and Device simulations of magnetotransistors. These transistors are used in sensors for automotive applications. Internship carried out in the Mixed Signal and Systems group of the Central Research & Development Department.

Lab-on-a-Chip
