Providing applicative support during development and for regulatory approval of a robotic system for minimally invasive surgery at the interface between engineers and clinicians. Setting up a user robotic training program and environment, consisting of training-OR infrastructure and surgical simulation. Capturing and analyzing clinical requirements and user feedback for future product improvements. Evaluating new technologies in diagnostics and imaging for future use in our programs.

Driving our gene-expression based biomarker research and development program towards POC- diagnostic assays in systemic inflammation and infection in a start-up environment. Set-up, coordination and bioplausibility analysis within our gene expression service program for clinical specimens. Project leader for various national and regional research projects in tumor and sepsis diagnostics. Providing scientific and applicative support for conduct of a german multicenter clinical trial.
