As member of the Senior Management Team operationally responsible for the proper management and execution of all procurement projects/operations of SNC-Lavalin Mining and Metallurgy Australasia and strategically responsible to develop and establish strategic relationships with Tier 1 OEM companies to serve the market with up to date know how solutions in mining and metallurgy and to bid and execute cost efficient EPCM and EPC/lump sum projects.

Based in Shanghai and operationally responsible for a team of International and Chinese procurement professionals for the Low Cost Country (LCC) sourcing, purchasing, expediting, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and contract execution, influencing an annual mining systems order intake of Sandvik Mining Systems.

Based in Shanghai and operationally responsible for the proper management and execution of Surface Mining projects – In pit crushing and conveyer (IPCC) projects in China and Mongolia. General responsibility for the liaison with all pre-sales and sales functions in the Sandvik Region East Asia and the link between the global acting engineering centres’ of Sandvik mining systems, the local operation and their customers.

Managed successfully the Lump Sum Greenfield coal terminal and stockpile ENEL project with a team of 50 people plus at its peak a construction team of 350 people at site. This project was the first of its kind and is well known as ENEL`s “clean coal power plant” in Civitavecchia/Rome. The closed vacuum conveyors, safe coal transportation belts and sealed coal stockyards makes it a state of the art material handling project;
