Work as a Master-student at the CD-Lab for viral immunotherapy, in Dr. Guido Wollmanns research group, focusing on oncolytic viruses and their use in future immunotherapy applications. As a Master student, several methods, including cell culture methods, molecular biology, protein biochemistry and animal procedures are used to investigate on two different Master projects to pursue the degrees MSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Molecular Medicine.

One month internship at the Institute of Neuroscience in the research group of Prof. Georg Dechant. Practical laboratory work focusing on several methods including genotyping, qPCR, RNA extraction and chromatin immuno precipitation.

Internship as part of an exchange semester at the University of Eastern Finland. Practical work with Yevheniia Ishchenco, PhD, a PhD student at the research group of Rashid Giniatullin, on her PhD project, involving mainly cell culture work and some introduction to neurophysiological techniques, including patch clamp technique.

Four month internship as a part of the study program for a BSc in Biotechnology at the MCI Management Center Innsbruck. Work in the neurophysiology lab of Landeskrankenhaus Hochzirl, mainly on daily routine techniques for diagnosis and treatment of patients, but partly also independent work on a Bachelor project to establish a method for the assessment of special brainstem reflexes.
