Kenneth Bérard

My mission is to create a coherent strategy for the business together with the Board, make sure this strategy is communicated clearly to the team so that everyone looks in the same direction, put the right people in place and remove obstacles so that team members can succeed at doing the things at which they excel! I also help organisations (brands and foundations) get the best value of Optimy to improve their sponsorship, partnership and/or corporate patronage performance!

An entrepreneur at heart but without a specific project in my head, I decided to leave Accenture, in order to support various start-ups in their development. I participated in the launch of TAATU, a Belgian-based Virtual World, by raising €8m (capital and subsidies). I also supported several entrepreneurs, drawing up their business plans or selling their actual business.

I integrated the Global Business Solutions service line, and contributed to delivering innovative procurement strategies for key accounts in Belgium and abroad such as RoyalSunAlliance, Sara Lee, Arcelor, Euroclear, Electrabel and the Belgian government. That was the best start imaginable!
