Provide leadership for Medical Publications function within the Department of Clinical Development/Medical Affairs. Provide input into the development and execution of Therapeutic Area Medical Affairs Plans to achieve key medical/scientific objectives and provide support for the identification and development of medical publications. Collaborate across US and Global to build close working relationships with domestic and Corporate CDMA colleagues to ensure strategic alignment of local and global publication

Led development and execution of Scientific Communications activities associated with the incretin portfolio. Collaborated with multidisciplinary team to foster scientific exchange and communicate GSK science in a transparent, credible, ethical, and compliant manner. Programs included scientific publications and presentations, external expert engagement, advisory boards, symposia and medical education.

Led Global and Regional cross-functional Publication Core Teams to design and implement publications and related Scientific Affairs activities to support various assets in the cardiovascular, metabolic, urologic and hematologic therapeutic areas. Led the Phase IV Protocol Review Committee to review and assess investigator-initiated studies to support the hematology biologicals franchise.

Responsible for the development and execution of my research program. Results of research published in 16 primary manuscripts (6 as first author) and 10 peer-reviewed review articles. Presented this research at scientific meetings as abstract presentations and plenary talks. Responsible for training and supervision of technicians, post-doctoral fellows, and pre-doctoral trainees.
