Instructed students of English as a second language (ESL) in conversational and cultural conventions of the English language. Students range in age from elementary school to retired. Lessons conducted with instructional textbooks and practice of applicable material in a classroom setting. Also responsible for scheduling lessons, establishing the school’s curricula, pricing, and lesson policies.

Designed content for the association’s in-house printed collateral, such as; Material and member publications Brochures Direct mailings to 1,500 association members nationwide Association’s magazine Catalogs, etc.

Designed flyers and posters for small businesses to widen customer awareness of their services and increase business. Used industry standard layout and design software, such as Adobe applications and Quark XPress.

Worked in various capacities at the Publishers Service Bureau, such as; Received and processed client orders. Converted media from analog to digital. Scanned images and text. Assisted in production of short-run small-, medium- and large-format printed materials. Produced color prepress proofs for offset printers. Arranged pick-up and delivery of final products to clients.
