Klas Liljefors

I am the Legal Counsel providing advice to the following divisions at Siemens AB: Energy Management, Power & Gas, Power Generation Services and Wind Power & Renewables. I am also assisting the cross section departments for Real Estate and Procurement.

Mannheimer Swartling is the largest and the leading law firm in Sweden. I gained experience by working in the firm's practice groups for Mergers & Acquisitions and Dispute Resolution. I acted as counsel in a number of litigations and arbitrations and did often asses legal claims at early stages. I was primarely involved in international arbitrations conducted under the rules of various arbitral institutions, including the SCC and the ICC. I focused on energy disputes.

Klas Sjödin did, upon qualification, judge in civil and criminal trials: Civil cases with disputed amount not exceeding a certain amount and criminal cases where the possible sanction did not exceed imprisonment for six months. In addition, Klas Sjödin prepared cases and decided on matters such as adoption, division of marital property, administrators and special representatives.
