The position includes the responsibility for: • Delivering of products in the automotive market to all major car manufacturers. • A global R&D organization including Mechanical, Hardware and Software development departments • Providing a common platform for entire telematic product portfolio • Innovations, proof of concepts and prototyping • Managing global budget in 7 different sites • OEM selection and management

Leading the Global Software Development activities implementing an End-2-End solution for the Industry 4.0 (IIoT) across the entire product portfolio. The responsibility includes: • Support the team in creating a System Architecture that is scalable, affordable and realistic at the same time • Select and Build relationships with OEMs • Up-selling of the IIoT story inside the organization to Management, Sales and other relevant stakeholders • Regular reporting to the Board on achievements and next steps.

Leadership responsibilities for multi-cultural geographically distributed teams delivering support and maintenance to Kontron's customers world wide. The teams provides everything from standard support to customized solutions (development) for the embedded HW/SW business. Have grown the service offerings from being a cost center to a multi million revenue generating business. Head of Kontron's IoT Business including all world wide development activities for Kontron's IoT portfolio.
