Global responsibility for Electron Microscopy Software Development: Munich, Oberkochen, Cambridge, Peabody Budget budget responsibility (high single digit M€ range) Capacity ramp up and restructuring of the SW department by establishing new roles, functions and processes Technology migration from multiple legacy solutions to a unified shared framework

Responsibility for the Product Unit consisting of a team of 5 experts. Product responsibility including budget, sales targets and pricing. Product management: concepts, business plans, IP, market & technology analysis, marketing strategy &materials, product life cycle management. Product development: specification, resources planning, project management. High level sales support & key accounts. International R&D and cooperation projects. Innovation: technology evaluation, prototyping scouting.

Product management and product development of a 2-photon microscope and a TIRF system. International sales and sales support 2-photon, TIRF and imaging systems.

2-photon microscopy, development of a 2-photon microscope, calcium imaging, time lapse imaging, confocal imaging

Scientific consultant for advanced microscopy and imaging applications, especially 2-photon microscopy.
