My responsibilities included: a) Developing and implementing the investment strategy with the CEO. b) Handling Bank relationships and having the overall control of the financial position of the Group. c) Overseeing all accounting functions.Managing Budgeting and financial forecasting. d) Exploring alternative sources of funding internationally. e) Heading the family office of the Group covering wealth management and real estate investment

Established and managed the Shipping unit which was created following the acquisition of the local operations of ABN AMRO Bank and Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank(SCGB). The unit was developed as a shipping center offering clients access to shipping loans, corporate services, private banking and retail operations.

My responsibilities included: a) Credit Portfolio Management of Greek clients exceeding USD 1Bn. b) Generating and structuring shipping loans. c) Covering operational needs of shipping companies.

Was part part of the team that set-up in 1998 the Rep.Office of the Bank in Piraeus/Greece. This was created to provide shipping and private banking services to the HNW and UHNW Greek clients. Managed a portfolio of clients exceeding USD 1.5 Billion and was responsible for originating, syndicating as lead arranger and executing large transactions. Played a key role in originating and executing some of the biggest, most complex and highly profitable shipping and corporate deals in the Hellenic market.
