Responsible of operations for work and meeting pod solutions at Smartblock. Led and developed management of supply chain, order delivery, procurement, warehousing, logistics, support, and after-sales services. Created and maintained products life cycles from bill of materials to change management. Supported product development especially concerning electronics from concepts to manufacturing. Part of the company’s management team.

Managed several professionals responsible for manufacturing, logistics and warehousing operations of a multitouch display. Created visions, strategic directions and designed KPIs to ensure success of company goals. Built supply chains, value chains and manufacturing systems for several mechatronic products in Europe and the US. Led procurement process and secured agreements and partnerships with over 40 suppliers. Part of the company’s management team with departmental profit & loss responsibility.

Product final testing, training of the manufacturing workers, creation and maintaining of manufacturing related documentation. I also participated in product development work, prototype building, testing and technical documentation. During this time I was a member of the support team, which occasionally meant providing technical support for customers and onsite repairs around the world.

My main task was to improve a bottleneck in the production of Orion’s blood analyzing device QR 101. Practically it meant optimization of the LED measuring system, introducing the new system to production and related training of operators. The thesis was ordered by PartnerTech Ltd on behalf of their end customer Orion Plc.

Assembly of Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analyzers for laboratory and industrial usage.

Perform service on humidity and temperature measuring instruments, which involved: failure analysis, fault tracing, fault repairing and recalibration, cost estimate of the repair, documentation of the process and customer service

End-testing of medical analyzers, which included functional and mechanical testing of the product, inspection and documentation of the result.

Supervision of CO2 retrieval process, quality control of the product using various methods (Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer), maintenance of the plant, as a member of the on-call team and supervision of the products further transportation.
