Contributed to the construction and assembly of flight simulators. Experience with multiple aluminum extrusion assemblies, laser cutting, metal working, electrical assemblies, and final product preparation. Helped primarily with mechanical assembly of CRJ700 interactive components. Included but not limited to the throttle, rudders, flaps/slats, spoiler, and yoke controls.

Worked with an EPC team in Colorado for the first month during the construction phase of Port Westward 2, a natural gas fired power plant to be added onto the original Port Westward in Oregon. During my time in Centennial, CO I worked with piping and instrument diagrams as well as project drawings to assist in final phase updates. For the second part of my time at Black and Veatch I was at the construction site conducting field observations and revisions to drawings and diagrams.

Helped with the completion of a resonant fluid modeling apparatus. The project is designed to be implemented in microgravity as a fuel measurement system for rockets. The resonant method would replace the typical methods such as vapor pressure and burn time measurements. The system measures resonant frequencies from an excited spherical tank to accurately estimate the amount of fluid in the tank. Data acquisition is done via LabVIEW and then analyzed using Matlab.

Performed necessary duties to catch salmon on the East side of Cook Inlet, near Kasilof, Alaska. The four of us worked (2) boats and (12) set-netting sites.

Assisted in the production of aluminum and steel parts using traditional machining tools (mill,lathe,saws, etc.) as well as worked with Haas CNC Vertical Mill and Lathe. Job responsibilities included the setting up of machines, reading technical drawings, and running the machines for production.
