LAura Ciarloni

In collaboration with the start up Diagnoplex, I am focusing on the identification of blood surrogate biomarkers useful to monitor the response to anti angiogenic therapies in cancer patients.

My research focused on the role played by the EGFR ligand Amphiregulin in the development of the mouse mammary gland. The quality and accuracy of the study allowed the publication on a high impact peer reviewed journal. This experience provided me with the ability of managing a scientific project, analysing, reporting data and solving problems independentely. My verbal and written english communication skills also benefits from this experience, reaching a very good level.
