Responsible for the development of detailed financial forecasts as well as the reporting of financial results and providing management with insight on any deviation from plan.

• 2010 MBUSA took over the distribution and marketing of Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinter Vans. Successfully integrated Finance & Controlling function into existing MBUSA and Daimler AG (parent company) systems, policies and procedures. • Created detailed operating plans and targets. • Provided Executive Management and Daimler AG with monthly forecasts. Identified risks and opportunities and made recommendations to financially optimise the result.

• Everyday accounting work; included but not limited to month end reconciliations and journal entries. • Maintained warranty provision, including the preparation of detailed information to monitor performance and provision adjustment. • Maintained fixed asset register. Successfully conducted fixed asset audit. • Prepared and filed Government Goods and Services Tax (GST), Employee Pay As You Earn Tax (PAYE) and Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT).
