Lauri Kaskela

I am an interaction designer working with F-Secure’s B2B Cyber Security solutions. In April 2016, I started an expat project in Poznan, Poland. I have also worked with consumer products. -Engaging endusers -user research (interviews, focus groups) -mapping user journeys -wireframing and prototyping (Axure) -usability tests, heuristic evaluations -coordinating visual design, participating visual design workshops -supporting implementation team -advocating non-designers in design thinking

I was a consultant working as a business analyst and functional / user experience designer. My experience with clients was mostly in telecom with a focus on requirements engineering and in the insurance sector designing both internal and consumer facing systems. I also worked with internal HR systems design.

Funcy is my one man sideline business (toiminimi). With Funcy I provide customers industrial design services from user research to product concept design, strategic design and design management.

I worked as a consultant in various customer projects related to IT concept development, business process and information modelling. I took part in developing new concepts for Eurostep PLM system Share-A-space. My clients were mostly in telecom and manufacturing industries developing their R&D tools and processes with a focus on product lifecycle management (PLM) and requirements engineering. I did my Master's Thesis, "Lifecycle Information Management of a Mass Customized Product" for Eurostep.
