Lead Java Backend Developer: conceptualisation, design, development and overall implementation of a robust Rest API (https://readdy.io) for mobile and web client. Developed different components – persistence, rules orchestrations, authentication and authorisation, Apache Camel business process routes, Rest Endpoints, integration with OCR, unit and integration tests, documentation and development of a reporting dashboard. Also, developed a micro-service to validate unstructured address data from the OCR.

Developed a messaging system, filtering component and re-configured the live legacy server to run locally so that developers are then able to debug and troubleshoot with ease from a localised version of the live production deployment environment. Contributed to the development of a security component to secure all Rest Endpoints. Researched and contributed to important technical discussions on the famous 'Improvement Fridays'; these discussions constantly shaped the technological future of the company.

Software consulting and coaching focused on agile software development practices and implementation of custom-tailored enterprise Java/JEE applications using open source products.

I was part of a team of developers and together we successfully accomplished our roles on several 'business critical' projects to develop, optimise, test, integrate and maintain systems such as: Stride Switch System, Pricing Engine, Broker Portfolio Administration System, Survey System and several reporting dashboards.

Worked as a software tester for the first four months, then moved on to a Java programmer role where i successfully updated a legacy Leads System from EJB 2.1 to EJB3.0. Also, did some web application development using JSF, servlets and JSP technologies.
